The concept behind Future Percussive is simple: capture compelling percussive sounds and provide drag-and-drop loops and one-shots for electronic dance music producers of all styles.
From Indonesia, we recorded:
- Bamboo Gong - a traditional bamboo percussion instrument with resonant tones
- Calung - a bamboo xylophone with multiple tubes struck to create different pitches
- Celempung - a bamboo idiophone played by striking, producing resonant sounds
- Karinding - a small jaw harp made from bamboo or palm stem, played near the mouth
From West Africa, we recorded:
- Gudugudu - a traditional Yoruba drum used for timekeeping in ceremonial performances
